Patient Participation Group
The role of the Howard House Patient Participation Group (PPG) is to bring together patients, doctors and other members of the Practice Management Team to work in partnership, in order to promote the wellbeing of patients and support the Practice in providing a high quality of service and care.
The PPG is independent of the Practice and is run by the Patient Members. We meet with representatives from the Practice Management Team every 6-8 weeks, currently using Microsoft Teams. The date of the next meeting will normally be posted on the Surgery window or can be requested via the Chair.
The Minutes from previous PPG meetings are available, on request, from the Chair.
We are not a forum for complaints, which should be directed to the Practice Management Team, but we do bring forward suggestions for ways to improve the service to patients.
The PPG has approximately 10 Patient Members.
